Stock photo opportunity: Salvo Architectural Reclamation Fair 2015 – all weekend – Henley UK

“Salvo Fair is a great experience, especially for an architect like me who is passionate about restoration. I found all sorts of weird and wonderful things including classic pieces of great British furniture which I’m a huge fan of. It’s a great day out.”
George Clarke, Architect and of The Restoration Man, and Amazing Spaces

Salvo Fair 2015, Icehouse Lane, Fawley Hill, Henley RG9 6JA runs Sat 27 / Sun 28th

Press photographers: Please park in the car park field and call Ruby Kay +44 7855 010960 or Thornton Kay +44 7971 217842 on arrival.

The Salvo Fair 2015 will feature hundreds of tonnes of rescued architectural elements, garden and decorative salvage from dozens of UK and European dealers, alongside Tiny Salvaged Spaces, an exhibition inspired by the trend towards small spaces for living, relaxing and working. First-time buyers struggling to purchase a home might be inspired by small houses that are not only more affordable, but also ecologically friendly. Ecovril, green building consultants will be on hand to offer advice and Maria Speake of Retrouvius will be signing copies of their book ‘Reclaiming Style’ which features the reclaimed garden cabin Retrouvius built for DJ George Lamb. Posing questions like ‘why should men have all the sheds?’, Gill Heriz, author of ‘A Woman’s Shed’ will also be signing books.
