Closing Date:
29 February, 2012
On 25 January 2012 the Greater London Authority (the ‘GLA’) made the Trafalgar Square Byelaws and the Parliament Square Garden Byelaws (the ‘Byelaws’). This follows the consultation exercise in relation to the proposal to make the Byelaws which ran from 9 December 2011 to 22 January 2012.
On 30 January 2012 the GLA gave notice that it intends to submit the Byelaws to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport for confirmation…..
….Any objection to the confirmation of the Byelaws may be made by letter addressed to Carl Schnackenberg, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, 2-4 Cockspur Street, London SW1Y 5DH, or by email to: [email protected].
Read on and view the Byelaws here.

…UPDATE 31 Jan from @emijy London twitter feed : ‘Those byelaws already exist and always have. They only refer to activity within the squares, which wardens enforce, not of them.’
