Multimedia Manager – William J. Clinton Foundation – New York
The multimedia manager is responsible for shooting, producing, and archiving all photo and video content for the William J. Clinton Foundation, its Initiatives, and President Clinton. As the sole in-house photographer/videographer, s/he attends events, identifies appropriate content to capture, shoots raw photo and/or video, and selects content to release to media and other distribution channels as necessary. S/he is also responsible for producing multimedia content that advances the Foundation’s marketing and communications efforts, including editing photos for use on the Foundation’s website, social media, and printed materials; creating short compelling video stories for distribution on the website, through social media, and at events; and quality checking all photo and video content for public distribution. Finally, s/he manages the photo and video documentation, distribution, and archiving process of the Foundation, acquiring content from field staff and third parties, selecting and distributing all visual assets for internal and external projects to internal staff and other appropriate parties, digitally editing material to a variety of specifications, and maintaining a legible database of multimedia assets.
• Serve as the sole staff photographer and videographer for the William J. Clinton Foundation and all of its initiatives. Shoot photo and video at a variety of events and field project sites, ensuring quality and comprehensive coverage. Select, edit, and translate assets for use in online and print materials.
• Produce multimedia content that showcases the work of the Foundation and advances the Foundation’s marketing and communications efforts. This includes storyboarding narratives; producing shoots; and editing raw video and photo footage into cohesive, compelling films for distribution in a variety of platforms.
• Manage the photo and video documentation of the Foundation, its initiatives, and President Clinton from start to finish by capturing, selecting and editing content for the website and printed materials. Identify and manage external crews and production houses, often international, to ensure quality control.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive archive of photos and video to ensure that the content is up-to-date, easily accessible, and accurately reflects the work of the Foundation.
