An announcement from Rex Features:
Tony Kyriacou started at Rex as an office junior in the mid 90’s. He was offered a staff photographer’s job after smuggling himself into a Spice Girls party at the Oxo Tower, armed with a point and shoot and leaving with his first exclusive set of pictures.
Tony decided to take the freelance route in 2003 and really found his forte in photographing art shows and exhibitions. He was a talented cartoon artist and before joining Rex had dreamed of working in that field.
Tony will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues.

Tony was 36 years old.
