Industry reaction:
Robin Nuun at Nunn Syndication: “Simply the Best!”
Veneta Bullen: “I first worked with Peter when he was working in London for OZ based company Australian Consolidated Press, Kerry Packer’s organisation which he had inherited from his father, Sir Frank Packer. He used to file photos not take them until of course he emigrated to Australia. Sad news that he has died suddenly and so young.”
Adam Scull at Photolink: “So sad to hear of his passing. I knew Peter in the late ’70’s, when I was a staff photographer at the New York Post. He worked NYC for quite some time before going back to Australia. Hands down, he was one of those wonderful photographers, filled with warm stories, always managed to look at the bright side of things, and a very pleasant chap to be around. I, for one, will miss him.”
