Four new staff postings at London based photo agency Rex Features this week:
• Ed Maidment, previously Associate Picture Editor at The Times, joins as Diary Editor due to the retirement of industry veteran John Melhuish
• Laura Watts joins as a USA Sales Executive, a post she will take up in the Los Angeles in May. Laura previously worked for Bauer Magazines and the Guardian Media Group
• REX Editorial Assistant – NCTJ-trained journalist Sophie Exton joins the new REX Editorial department to build on the success of Rex’s output of unusual and quirky content
• Sales Assistant – Laura Hegarty, who was an intern at Gallery Stock, Ink Global and The Portsmouth news and is a further investment in REX’s client service offering
