With nearly 100 locations every year that attract around 3 million visitors, World Press Photo is pleased to announce that the debut location of its 2014 exhibition tour, at De Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, attracted more than 75.000 visitors, a record number for the location.
Michiel Munneke, managing director World Press Photo: “We are extremely happy to see that a record number of 75.060 visitors came to see the exhibition in Amsterdam. We’ve nearly doubled the number of visitors since 2004 and we hope to see a similar trend at all the other exhibitions to come.”
