↑ Joseph Martinez and the photo agency’s new offices in the Culver City area
Celebrity, entertainment and historical stock photography The Hollywood Archive and celebrity and entertainment photo agency PictureLux Agency are starting the new year in new facilities right across the street from Sony Pictures in downtown Culver City, California …in part due to Culver City’s long history in Motion Picture and TV production.

They say: Although unaffiliated with Sony, with this move adjacent to the Sony Pictures Complex, The Hollywood Archive gains an office presence that reflects our strong Culver City – Entertainment Industry ties and accommodates our future growth plans. Since the 1920s, Culver City has been a significant center for motion picture and later television production, best known as the home of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios. It was also the headquarters for the Hughes Aircraft Company from 1932 to 1985. National Public Radio West and Sony Pictures Entertainment now have headquarters in the city. The NFL Network studio is also based in Culver City.
