ITV Studios Global Entertainment, owner of Britain’s most prestigious classic feature film collection, has appointed The Kobal Collection, the leading film photo archive in private ownership, as a worldwide representative of its extensive archive of film stills.
The ITVSGE catalogue comprises over 1,500 titles from many of the key film production companies including the renowned Rank, Romulus, Korda and ITC collections. The archive covers many of the greatest classic movies British cinema has ever produced, whether it’s an early Alfred Hitchcock (The Lodger, The 39 Steps), masterworks from David Lean (Great Expectations, Oliver Twist), classics from Powell and Pressburger, (The Red Shoes, A Matter of Life and Death, Black Narcissus) many a Carry On or oft overlooked gems such as Gus Van Sant’s To Die For and John Dahl’s The Last Seduction,
