Ian – the brief CV:
• In 1983 he joined sports photography agency, Allsport, and helped to build the company that was bought by Getty Images many years later.
• He has edited photographers’ material at major sporting events around the world, including Olympic Games, World Cups, golf tournaments and cricket tours, working with some of the world’s best photographers.
• In 1990 he joined the Daily Mirror and, in March 2000, was appointed Head Of Pictures, a position he held until the end of 2015.
Ian: “I’m delighted to be involved with SilverHub. I’m struck by the sheer passion for photography across the team. We have a shared vision for how we want to work with clients, helping them out more and keeping lines of communication open. These are simple but personal touches that can get a bit lost in the digital age, so it’s really refreshing to be involved.”
