Tim Harris from the Nature Picture Library called the PAN office with sad news of the death of Angela Anderson a picture industry veteran who was Picture Manager at Dorling Kindersley for a number of years and ran the BAPLA office during a period of transition in 2008-2009.
Angela died on 17th October at the Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead London. She had many good friends in the publishing and picture agency world and will be remembered as a kind, caring and generous person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Most recently Angela had been working as a freelance picture researcher and held a number of roles outside the industry including volunteer work at the Lighthouse Project and an administrative role at St Martins in the Fields.
Her funeral will be held at 11am on Friday 18th November at Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, East Finchley N2 0TH and then at 12.00 at St Marylebone Crematorium, East End Road, East Finchley N2 0RZ.
