In Denmark photo agency Polfoto has been acquired by national news agency Ritzaus Bureau A/S which they say will create ‘Denmark’s leading photo agency’. In an email to one of it’s image partners seen by PAN Polfoto explains :
The agreement will take effect on April 1st. As a result of the integration of Polfoto into Ritzaus Bureau, all rights and obligations under your current agreement and corporation with Polfoto are transferred to Ritzaus Bureau.
Ritzaus Bureau is Denmark’s leading, national news agency and has more than 150 years’ of experience with production and distribution of news to the Danish media, authorities, organisations and companies.
Agency business is at the heart of our operations, and with this in mind Ritzaus Bureau places a great importance on the photo agency. Along with the employees from Polfoto and its relationships with all its customers and partners, Ritzau plans to develop and grow the photo agency even further. It is Ritzaus belief that you will experience continued high quality and a high level of service when continuing working with us.
We must stress that all conditions and terms under the current cooperation agreement will of course remain unchanged after the transfer of Polfoto to Ritzaus Bureau.
