Here’s a fantastic new initiative to help photojournalism and documentary students studying at the University of Gloucestershire learn how photo agencies work – their own photo agency Pathos Images.
Paul Roberts the Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the Uni told PAN: “We officially launch our own course picture agency this week. Pathos Images, run for the students and soon by the students, is there to help students understand how to work with picture agencies as a Photojournalist or as a documentary photographer. Including ethics, releases, effective captioning, keywording and FTP distribution. We are committed to producing Photojournalists fit and ready for the future”.
Paul tells us the agency has been well received and he has already had interest from national newspaper photo desks!

Great work Paul! – PAN will be following the uploads.
