The Mega Agency has made a major hire this week welcoming David Boyle to the photo agency where he is tasked with advancing partnerships and subscriptions with the agency’s growing network of clients and media partners.
David, who worked at the New York Post’s midtown headquarters from 2001 to 2020 and was previously at The Sun in London from 1990 to 2001 told PAN: “I’ve spent the past couple of years in sales and marketing but when MEGA got in touch it was too tempting to resist. “I’ve known the leaders at MEGA for many years and they have a proven track record in this industry. When I heard some of the plans that were outlined to me about how disruptive they intend to be over the coming years it all sounded very exciting. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with some great professionals and friends from a business that I know and love so much.”
MEGA told PAN more about the appointment: ‘Boyle, who led the Post’s PageSix.com relaunch in 2007, will lead initiatives to strengthen and expand both new and existing relationships, underscoring Mega’s commitment to innovation and growth in the photo and video licensing sector.’
“With over 30 years of experience in senior roles at major publications like The Sun in London and The New York Post in the U.S., David brings a proven track record in building impactful business relationships,” said Mega President Kevin Smith. “His expertise includes championing photographers and supporting the growth of emerging media outlets, positioning him as an invaluable asset to Mega as it continues its expansion and deepens its industry influence.”
