Read: INSI report Killing the Messenger names all the 168 journalists killed in 2025

The International News Safety Institute have published their annual Killing the Messenger report naming all the 168 journalists killed in 2025: ‘mostly locals who died in extraordinary numbers with impunity – from Gaza to Ukraine; Peru to Iran; Mexico to Sudan & all around the world.’
