Job: Experienced photography editor to edit The Washington Post print photo archive

The Washington Post photography department seeks an experienced photography editor interested in Washington history to edit our print photo archive. The candidate must have 7+ years of photo editing/researching experience and a working knowledge of the photojournalism industry. An editing test will be required.

The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work completely independently. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial to this work. This is contract position, five days per week through the end of this year. Most of the work will take place at the archive’s location in Laurel, Md. with limited time spent at the Washington Post’s downtown offices. The facility is not Metro accessible, so a car will be required.
