Great news in this week from auto racing photo library The Klemantaski Collection who have recently acquired the Archive Corrado Millanta® from the family of the late Italian auto racing photographer Corrado Millanta.
Klemantaski told PAN: “Corrado’s archive covers the years 1935-1957, primarily in Italy. Millanta was an industrial designer who loved racing and photography. He had close associations with Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Touring, Pininfarina and other Italian automotive enterprises. He covered almost every running of the Mille Miglia, as well as other races both in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, as well as numerous auto shows.
The Corrado Millanta archive is especially important as it covers the earliest activities of Ferrari in that company’s formative immediate postwar years.”
