Alaska Stock Images is celebrating it’s 20th year as a photo library this year.
Owner Jeff Schultz (photo above) takes up the story, “I had been a full-time professional photographer in Anchorage since 1982 doing a fair amount of selling my own stock photos to clients around the State and Country. Sometime in the Summer of 1990, two of Alaska’s finest photographers (Chris Arend and Johnny Johnson) and I got together at Elmer’s restaurant over lunch and decided it was time that Alaska had a stock photo agency of its own. That’s where the idea for Alaska Stock Images was born and it was decided that I’d be the one to run it”…………
