AP Images Announces Express Group Photo Distribution Agreement


The Associated Press have announced a worldwide distribution and licensing agreement across the archive and contemporary images of the Express Group. Titles at the Express include: OK! Magazine, The Daily Express, Express.co.uk, Sunday Express, Daily Star, DailyStar.co.uk, Daily Star Sunday.
Tens of thousands of Express Group’s pictures from around the world dating from the 1900s through to present day will be available to AP customers online at AP Images. “The Express Group archives are one of the world’s leading photographic archives whose images capture such diverse stories such as the announcement of World War I, the death of Queen Victoria, as well as the famous and the infamous from the last 111 years,” said London-based AP Images Director of International Business Development James Claydon. “I am truly excited to announce the distribution of our images through the new and exciting AP/Express Group affiliation,” said Express Group Syndication and Licensing Manager Mark Swift. “AP is a well-respected agency with an award-winning collection of breaking news and editorial photography.
