‘This year we have a limited number of copies available of Betty Freeman’s Music People, a book of photographic portraits from the contemporary music world.’
Betty Freeman was both a photographer and a patron of the arts, and was a long-standing supporter of contemporary musicians. Having trained as a classical pianist, she comissioned works by many of the 20th century’s most significant composers, many of whom also dedicated works to her.
