French newspaper group Nice-Martin has acquired Chouet’Press which owns the Bestimage photo agency.
Bestimage covers news, celebrity, fashion and sport in France around the world and has millions of digitised images in its archive dating to the 1970’s.
Nice-Martin commenting on the sale said: ‘This strategic acquisition is excellent news for the entire Bestimage team. It allows the Nice-Martin group to continue to develop and strengthen its position as a leading media outlet for the South-East of France.’
