akg-images, the rights-managed photo archive specialising in history, fine art and vintage photography, will see a change of directorship at its London office on 15th March 2017. Current Managing Director Angelika Pirkl who has been in the role since 2015 and with the library for over eight years will be leaving akg-images to pursue a career in freelance picture research.
akg Owner Friedrich Göpel says: “We thank Angelika for her passion and dedication and wish her the best of luck in her freelance endeavours”. Angelika’s successor –already a familiar face in the industry- has been appointed, and a formal announcement will follow shortly.
