Almost six months on we have been back to the photo agencies who participated in our COVID-19: How’s the photo agency doing? reports to ask how are they doing NOW?
Here is an update from Martin Lisius at photo agency StormStock.
Since COVID-19 began in March, sales for StormStock content have been down. I’ve talked to clients, and they say they are waiting for production to ramp up. Although, there is some “get back to work” TV and film production occurring in the US, it is still slow to return to a pre-COVID pace.
We expect production activity to determine sales, as always. In the meantime, we continue to shoot new content including new lightning, tornadoes and other storms on 8K, and new hurricanes on 4K. We are not going to let a little virus stop us from maintaining the best collection of weather and climate footage in the world.
The show must go on!’
