Munich, 08th of July 2014: The German stock photo agency PantherMedia acquires the stock photo agency Digitalstock
After 10 years of business, Digitalstock GmbH ceases its operation. Customers and photographers receive an exclusive offer to continue buying and selling photos online at panthermedia.net.
Every customer who is transferring his account from digitalstock.de to panthermedia.net receives three images for free. Existing deposits will also be transferred to PantherMedia with an exchange rate of one DIGIcredit to one XXL download on panthermedia.net. This may triple the value of the deposit, since one image was about one to three DIGIcredits. Besides free images and the exchange of credits, customers benefit from a much larger collection of 30 million images at panthermedia.net compared to only 800.000 images on digitalstock.de.
Photographers may opt in to their account transfer until the 31st of August 2014. Every photographer who is not already registered at PantherMedia, may transfer his account including the images without any additional work. Digitalstock pays out all existing photographers until 30th of September 2014, after sucessfully requesting the payout in their account.
