Sports photographers waiting for the UK skies to clear should dig through this year’s rugby match edits to enter the Rugby Photographer of the Year. (Entries must have been taken between 1st April 2022 and July 16th 2023.)
This competition celebrates the very best of rugby photography, both amateur and professional from across the globe, culminating in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham.
They say: The prizes: All shortlisted entries will have their work featured in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum inside Twickenham Stadium. Category winners will be revealed online, before the overall winner is announced at the awards evening at the World Rugby Museum in Twickenham. A cash prize of £1,000 will be awarded to the overall Grand Prix winner of Rugby Photographer of the Year with Canterbury. In addition, they will receive a full set of bespoke Canterbury teamwear to be donated to a team of their choice. All category winners will also feature in a special edition of Rugby Journal. Additional prizes may be provided by sponsors, to be confirmed at a later date.
