Over the last twenty years the daily news photo feed from the european pressphoto agency (epa) has been distributed exclusively by dpa and then Shutterstock. That’s all changing.
epa has launched Jan 15) it’s international news photo and video service directly in Germany.
They say: ‘The German news market, one of the biggest and arguably most robust markets in the world, will now be able to access epa’s daily output of approximately 2,200 images, providing comprehensive global coverage of news events that hit the headlines.
To complement the news photo service, epa will also be offering a daily video production made up of news coverage from around the globe. The video service is in partnership with epa’s main shareholder the international news agency EFE from Spain.’
