EPA Images are redeveloping and reshaping their editorial multimedia service product Focus and have appointed photojournalist Martin Divíšek to oversee the upgrade.
• PAN Note: Focus will place greater emphasis on human-centered storytelling through photography, video, and text, with the goal of reconnecting with younger audiences. The product will explore socially relevant and emotionally resonant themes, such as the environment, minorities, women, migration, culture and technology.
Martin Divíšek will be the Focus Product Manager – a Czech photojournalist with nearly two decades of experience, Martin has been with EPA Images since 2017, covering news and features across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He previously worked for major Czech media outlets and is known for his compelling visual storytelling and sensitivity to human subjects.
“Focus is about restoring emotional resonance and relevance in storytelling,” said Tomas Stargardter, Editor-in-Chief of EPA Images. “Martin’s ability to convey depth and empathy makes him the perfect fit.”
Vicente Poveda, Chief Commercial Officer, added: “With Focus, EPA is aligning its storytelling with the values of a changing audience. Martin’s appointment is a key step in that evolution.”
