The european pressphoto agency (epa) is launching a global video service in partnership with its main shareholder, the international news agency EFE.
The new video feed will be available to buy on epa’s website from today to all registered online media clients from around the world.
Approximately 35 to 40 video clips per day with an around the clock production expertly edited via video desks in Bangkok, Madrid and Mexico City. Classic news categories of news, politics, economy & finance, through to sport, entertainment and arts & culture will be covered.
• Video will be made available in both edited and raw formats.
They say: “In this day and age it’s essential for journalists to be trained in multimedia formats to keep up with the demands of a fast paced and changeable news landscape,” said EFE’s President Gabriela Cañas, “This joint EFE / epa venture manages to harness the strength and expertise of both agencies to produce a service that is diverse, engaging and informative.”
