Royal Photographic Society Talks 2013 – Photography in a Connected Age

Exploring the sharing of imagery from an historical perspective to the recent release of Google Glass, these two separate events consider the way photography influences and impacts on the way we collectively publish and view imagery.

National Media Museum – Bradford 25th October 2013
From the formations of societies and government agencies, these talks track evolving means of sharing photographs. They explore the influence and impact that publishing images have on the way people view photography and the world around them.
Speaker: Patrizia di Bello, Colin Harding, Roger Hargreaves and Michael Pritchard.

University of Westminster 23rd November 2013
These talks will focus on current photo culture and the popularity of photo sharing with insight into the power of photography, the versatility that digital platforms offer and where technological changes are heading.
Speakers: Jason Evans, Roger Hargreaves, Alexandra Moschovi and Dr Loplop.
