Corbis Images has named Barak Ronen as Senior Vice President of Media Products. As SVP of Media Products, Ronen will be based in London and responsible for the company’s Media product development and commercial strategy.
Ronen has come from Reuters London where he was titled Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Policy responsible for leading customer-focused growth strategies and creating strategic content and service partnerships for the agency.
“Corbis has had a tremendous year and has positioned itself for future growth in the industry. I’m thrilled to become part of its management team and look forward to utilizing my experience in the industry to leverage this opportunity, and help shape Corbis’ Media products business,” said Ronen.
Looks like Barak will be heading Corbis’ next phase of transformation with it’s recent acquisition of Splash News, it’s new relationship with AP and it’s ‘investment’ in Demotoix.
