From Hugo at the gallery: ’50 years ago John Surtees won the F1 World Championship and in so doing became the only person to be world champion on both two and four wheels.

The exhibition is of 50 images from the topfoto archives selected/curated by John Surtees himself telling his story in motorsports. The images will be shown alongside his 500cc Manx Norton which he used in the Fifties and his 1959 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award trophy.

The exhibition also provides an opportunity to own limited edition prints signed by John Surtees with profits going to support two charities local to the business – the Henry Surtees Foundation and the Eden Valley Museum.
