Google Earth has a massive store of 2D and 3D Earth data, from large-scale geological features to individual city buildings. Earth Studio is the easiest way to leverage this imagery for still and animated content.
Here’s a question relevant to photo licensing on their attributions page:
I’d like to use your imagery in my film or television program. Any special rules?
Attribution to both Google and our data suppliers must appear on-screen for the entire duration the content is displayed. We will not approve requests to move the attribution to end credits or to fade out after a few seconds.
Please note that in order to use Google Maps and Google Earth imagery in film or on television, you must apply for our free broadcast license. You may customize the style and placement of the attribution text, as long as the text is legible to the average viewer or reader. (Re opens Jan 7 2019)
