New York based photo agency Trunk Archive is now representing the extensive works of Herb Ritts for exclusive worldwide image licensing.
Herb Ritts began his photographic career in the late 1970’s and quickly gained a reputation as a master of photography. He was drawn to clean lines and strong forms. Through this graphic simplicity he challenged the conventional notions of photography. Ritts created timeless portraits of a long list of notable persons from the worlds of fashion, film, music, politics and society. His subjects included Dame Elizabeth Taylor, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts, Michael Jackson and Nelson Mandela, among many others.
