California based photo library Image Collect now boasts over 3 million micro-stock celebrity images with a target of 5 million images online by early 2012. CEO at the library Ryan Born told PhotoArchiveNews.com; “In addition to the growth of our library, we just rolled out a site redesign and moved away from a credit based system to a simpler, subscription style pricing model. We’ve also opened up our API, allowing 3rd parties (both end user clients and 3rd party resellers) access to the entire celebrity image database. We have 5+ partners utilising the API right now with more lined up”. Early customers at Image Collect include People Magazine, US Weekly, and Tribune.
