Alan Capel will be leaving photo agency Alamy in June this year – on his own terms.
During his twenty three years with the agency Alan held senior roles at the agency at various times including Head of Commercial and Head of Content, most recently as Director of Business Transformation.
Alan told PAN: I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved at Alamy. We set out to do things differently and we’ve stayed true to those principles. It’s been a fantastic journey and I’ve learnt and laughed a lot along the way. I’ve made lifelong friends inside and outside the business – and I met my wife at Alamy too, so that was a bonus!
But 23 years is a long time and I’ve made the very difficult decision to move on. I have some ideas and projects I’m looking forward to tackling. I leave the business in very capable and safe hands.
Alamy say: We are saddened to announce that Alan Capel, Director of Transformation, will be leaving our company, after twenty years’ service.
During his tenure, Alan Capel has been instrumental in driving transformative initiatives and guiding Alamy through various significant milestones. His visionary leadership and deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape have been instrumental in ensuring Alamy’s growth and relevance in an increasingly competitive market.
As we bid farewell to Alan, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for his exceptional work and commitment. Alan has left an indelible mark on our organisation and will be greatly missed by colleagues and clients alike.
