Dean Murray, currently the Editorial Director at Cover Images, will be taking up a new role at the end of November at photo agency SWNS as Content Acquisition Specialist.
Dean started his photo agency career at Rex Features in the ‘early-noughties’, working for the company as it transitioned to Shutterstock before joining Cover Images in 2016.
Dean told PAN today: “This is a true full-circle for me. I decided to qualify as a journalist late in my 20s and SWNS were kind enough to give me my first work experience. Many years later, the planets have lined up and I am very excited to have the opportunity of working with them. They are a first-class news agency I have long admired, and the staff and management display a passion for our industry that I will be honoured to be part of.”
