Congratulations to PAN reader Max Butterworth who starts a new role this month as Photo Editor at NBC News.
Max has a solid photo background which should serve him well in his new gig – he started in the industry as a freelance photographer in 2006, moved to a full time staff photographer role at Pacific Coast News and then six years as Chief Photographer at Splash News before swapping the camera for the screen in 2017 with picture editor roles at The Sun and The Sunday Times.
Max told PAN this morning: “I am joining NBC News after three happy years at The Sun Online. I will be joining the NBCnews.com team out of the London office whilst working closely with the New York photo desk. NBC News has an excellent reputation and I’m thrilled to be working with a very talented team who place such value on their photographic and artistic output to help drive their digital stories.”
All the best in the new role Max!
