It’s Back… It’s Soon… fotofringe London 2012 Date Announced

fotofringe London: 26 April 2012. Picture users/researchers/designers/creatives: register
After May’s wildly successful debut networking event for picture researchers, publishers, designers, and image providers, the team behind fotofringe London have announced they are running the show again in 2012.

There are treasures to be found and deals to be done. Put it in your diary now: 9am-5pm on Thursday 26 April 2012 will see 75 picture libraries take their tables at the award-winning Kings Place, a few minutes walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras station, where they will be joined by researchers, creatives, art directors and designers from the publishing/picture-using world (for whom free entry!) seeking new connections, new deals and hidden pictorial gems.

New to fotofringe for 2012 are Alamy; Collections; Corbis; Global Warming Images; Homer Sykes My British Archive; Ikon Images; Living4Media; Lonely Planet Images; Magnum; Majority World; National Geographic Image Collection; PPL Media; RIA Novosti; RHS Images; Robana Picture Library; RSPB Nature & Wildlife Images; Steve Bloom Images; Superstock and Wellcome Images.

With 8 hours of event, and at least 75 exhibitors, that’s about 6 minutes per table – not including moving around and coffee breaks – so allow the full day and/or share the day with colleagues to make sure you secure the maximum benefit.

This simple format works brilliantly allowing visiting picture-users to sit with the agencies at their tables and talk to the key people. No time-wasting and no overload.
