What you’ll do

  • Working in the Media Ingest Centre, overseeing the end-to-end digitisation of legacy News tapes as part of our ongoing Digitisation Project.
  • QC’ing content, providing quick turnaround ad-hoc ingest for News, Sport and Entertainment content.
  • Liaising with Media Researchers across different teams.
  • Providing daily reports and identifying failures and technical issues, working closely with Super Users and Managers from News Archive.
  • Troubleshooting and isolating technical issues and raising to the relevant teams.

What you’ll bring

  • An interest in News, attention to detail and technical know-how are a must.
  • Prior experience of a broadcast environment is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have an enquiring mind, hands on troubleshooting abilities and be a great communicator.
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic and excellent analytical qualities.

Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
