Listz Collection at Topfoto – 10000 NEW images uploaded

Photo library Topfoto in the UK have uploaded 10,000 new images from the Liszt collection – ready for license.
The Liszt collection’s roots lay in the Austria Hungary Empire where Gizella Schwarz (1877–1962), started to collect some ‘Liszt’ prints.
These were portraits of Franz Liszt and woodcuts of the places where he lived and worked. Over the past hundred years the Liszt collection was gradually expanded and now houses over two million mostly nineteenth-century engravings, prints, drawings, watercolours, paintings, etchings and photos. Ranging from topics such as inventions, science, portraits, asia, transport, travel and country collections like U.K., India, China, America etc. The Liszt Collection is the visualisation of our past.
