Following the tragic events in London Bridge over the weekend PAN is pleased to report that the REX/Shutterstock and Camera Press and News UK offices in the area are now open as usual. The area started to reopen early Monday after police had cordoned off many roads. Staff from photo agency Gallery Stock who’s office is directly opposite Borough Market – where the terrorists struck – are working from home. Just around the corner in Tooley Street REX/Shutterstock recommended yesterday ‘that the team work from home Monday’ – many of the road blocks have now been lifted and a Shutterstock spokesperson in New York told PAN “Tooley Street is now open so the team is welcome to go in if they want”.
Camera Press, based a little further from the main scene were open this morning with MD Daryl Bradford telling PAN when we called: Hi Will, I feel strongly it is important to carry on with life so these tragic events make us stronger in the face of adversity. Shutterstock is even closer of course. Talking to my staff coming into and around London Bridge it took some time to walk here because of diversions but we will be in all day – Best wishes” Daryl.
News UK / News Syndication and Profile who are based at the foot of the Shard building practically facing London Bridge have most staff working from home with a few manning the office.
