Magazine publisher KLAMBT acquires Delius Klasing

In Germany, publisher Delius Klasing GmbH has become part of the KLAMBT media group. The 100% share purchase brings KLAMBT a new market for special interest publications. A planned investment program is intended to strengthen existing print publications and promote digital development opportunities.

PAN note: Delius Klasing is a leisure-focused special interest publishing group that was founded in 1911 and is active in the automotive, water sports, bicycle and football segments. Delius Klasing publishes magazines and books, operates websites, offers corporate publishing and organizes lighthouse events in its segments. The best-known brands of Delius Klasing include “YACHT”, “BOOTE” and “BIKE”. Events such as the largest mountain bike festival in Europe show the potential of the brands and target group segments. Delius-Klasing employs more than 200 people at its Bielefeld, Hamburg and Munich locations and generates sales of around EUR 40 million.

We are pleased to take on the professional employees and to be able to invest in the multimedia expansion of the brands.

The acquisition of the shares is subject to the approval of the German and Austrian antitrust authorities.
