Edmonton, Canada based photo library Design Pics has acquired RF & RM agency Masterfile and Masterfiles’ fully owned microstock subsidiary Crestock.
Rick Carlson, President of Design Pics, says “The acquisition of Masterfile and Crestock will allow Design Pics to expand its direct sales opportunities and capitalize on the Masterfile brand, while bringing new life to the collection with fresh new imagery and showcasing the work of all of our leading photographers from all our brands.” He adds, “Our goal is to improve opportunities for Masterfile contributors with expanded exposure from all Design Pics sites and our Printscapes division while maintaining Masterfile’s stellar reputation for personal customer service.”
