Matrix founder Max Cisotti leaves for Retna
Managing Director of Retna Pictures, Tim Forrester, announced today (2nd December, 2005) that Max Cisotti, co-founder of Matrix Syndication International Press Agency Ltd, is joining Retna Pictures with immediate effect.
Max Cisotti becomes Director of Sales, and Steve Hodgson also formerly at Matrix, becomes Picture Editor of Retna – one of the largest independent photo agencies in the world. Signaling a significant enhancement to their business, the appointments of Cisotti and Hodgson give a real competitive edge to Retna, best known for their established collection of celebrity, music, lifestyle and event photography.
These appointments follow the sale of Retna Pictures by Michael Putland earlier in the year. The new owners, PicturePerfect Group have given the management a remit to look at all opportunities to expand the business.
