“Meeting up with Mirror legend Bill Rowntree and as pin sharp as ever nearly twenty years retired. It’s been while: The last time we stood shoulder to shoulder on a job, they were burying his boss Maxwell in Jerusalem. Twenty years before I joined S&G, Bill was at Keystone with none other than Mr Michael Webb. “My first job was at Downing Street, and I had to look up where the hell that was….”
