New Deal: Mega Agency expands European magazine publisher relationships

The Mega Agency has announced a new media relashionship – this time with magazine publisher  Aller Media in Denmark. The two-way deal, sealed this month, gives Aller access to Mega’s news, sport and entertainment photos/video – and Mega will syndicate Aller Media’ content globally.

• Aller Media is the leading publisher of magazines and newspapers in the Nordic region with a weekly circulation of 3.2 million copies and has a market share on weeklies of 70 % and 20 % on magazines.

• Aller Media’s titles include Se og Hør (Celebrity/entertainment), Billed-Bladet (about the Danish royal family), Mad & Bolig (Scandinavian living), ISABELLAS (sustainable lifestyle), Aller Media also manages several digital sites including Spisbedre.dk (Scandinavian food) and Mainlifestyle.dk (interior design, fashion, beauty, travel and food) and many others.

They say on the new deal:

“The picture industry looks completely different today than just five years ago, both in terms of technology, market and competence requirements. Obviously, it imposes demands on us as a business, but also brings great potential to get our content exposed in new markets, and the partnership with The Mega Agency will help to ensure that,” says Director of publishing at Aller Media Denmark, Charlotte Riparbelli.
