Mega impact at Visa

Agency report from Visa pour l’Image in Perpignan, France this week:

The Mega Agency has been creating a buzz at the Visa pour l’Image photo journalism festival – with 3,000 ‘Mega’ beer mats.
With journalists known as a thirsty lot, the new agency decided on some clever marketing tactics by having their beer mats given out with every drink at the festival’s main meeting point – the Cafe de la Poste in the centre of Perpignan
And looks like it was a great success.
The agency, which picked up the bar tab at the Picture Editors’ Guild awards, received a huge spike in traffic to its website with the clever gorilla marketing tactic.
