One of the longest serving press agencies in Southeast Asia, CPA Media has launched its own online picture library, Pictures From History / Pictures From Asia. The library offers an extensive range of historical photographs, classical art and ancient scriptures with roots firmly in Asia—from the Middle East to the Far East.
CPA Media is well-known for its guide books–National Geographic, Insight Guides, AA, Thomas Cook, Frommer’s and DK, among others—and a series of coffee table books featuring historical sites and profiling the various ethnic minorities of the Mekong Subregion. Its photo library launches at the same time that the company prepares to branch into the e-book market with a series of cultural and educational guides focused on the history and culture of Asia, such as Angkor and the Silk Road.
