New photo representation: Capote & Hemingway enjoying the 1940’s – 50’s

UK based photo agency Writer Pictures have secured the licensing rights to the archives of Italian photographer Giancolombo.
The say: ‘Not only does the 1940s and 50s come back to life in these images, some of the 20th Century’s greatest icons are found in an entirely new light. As befitting a prolific photographer of this era, we’re representing a trove of pictures by Giancolombo.’
Giancolombo who lived from 1921 to 2005 was a legend in Italian photography, and some of these works started life as a commission for Picture Post, Paris Match and Stern.’
