Natural world stock photo library Ardea are live with their brand new website this week. The new homepage is feature driven and allows the library to better promote photographer collections and image selections.
The new site, written and managed in-house, runs on the same platform used by Ardea owner Mary Evans. They say: ‘Managing our own in-house system gives us complete control over how we want to present our images and allows us to give our clients the facilities most useful to them. Bringing the Ardea website in-house allows us to streamline our image management between the two companies as well, which is much more efficient and cost-effective for us.’
• Current users will be asked to create a new password. It is a good opportunity to reinforce security. Apart from that, there should be little extra administration for them.
